Junction Creek Amazing Race

Teams of 4 people will be required to participate in the 2019 Junction Creek Amazing Race.

The Junction Creek Stewardship Committee is a non-profit charity organization and we are asking that all participants make a donation to the committee in order to participate in the race. For registration we are asking for a minimum donation of $60/person for general public and $40/person for students. All proceeds from the race go towards funding our educational programs and restoration activities along Junction Creek.

Individuals and teams are welcome to donate more than the minimum. This year we are offering an optional Pledge Sheet in order to help collect donations to support the JCSC. The pledge sheet can be found below, and the Committee will be writing tax receipts to all those who donate.

The Competition

The Junction Creek Amazing Race is a rigorous test of endurance, team work, and skill. If you work together, you might just walk away with the prize.

How to Register

Registration is now open! You can register online (Click the "Register Now" button) or print out a registration form (found below) and bring it to our office or an event. Events include:

Farmer's Market - August 15th, 29th, September 5th

Registration deadline is September 8th so be sure to secure your spot early! Space is limited.

Pledge System

For the 2019 JC Amazing Race there is a pledge system available, for those interested, to help with collecting donations over and above the race entry fee. Just like the entry fee, 100% of the pledges collected will be used to support Junction Creek restoration projects and help fund children's educational programming.

To start collecting pledges, download the 'Amazing Race Pledge Form' from the bottom of the page. Be sure to fill in all of the donors information. This ensures that we are able to provide the donor with a tax receipt.

Filled out Pledge Forms with donations can be dropped off at the Junction Creek offices, brought to an event we are attending or brought to the Amazing Race. There will be prizes awarded to individuals and/or teams with the largest pledge amount.

While it is a competition, the Junction Creek Amazing Race is also meant to be fun! So we ask that everyone be respectful of each other
